My first BN spawn. The male has been tending these 4 days, and pushed them out 2 hours after I moved him to his own tank.
Are these eggs viable? I thought they are supposed to be orange or yellow?

YOU ARE RIGHT THEY SHOULD BE ORANGE SO THESE ARE NOT FERTILE but why did you move him should leave him and eggs alone at least until they have hatched Sad

He was in a community tank with large Angelfish, and I knew the fry would be eaten.
And I had read about people doing this.  scratch

They look like empty shells rather than un-fertilized eggs, you may have some fry hiding in your tank.

They do look empty, but I just introduced the female to the tank 5 or 6 days ago, and they spawned a day later. So these eggs would have only been 4 days old, when I pulled them.

hard to tell if they are empty or infertile.

The first and second spawn can often be a trail run.

New spawn yesterday, by this same pair.
The male kicked some of the eggs out this morning, and they look the same as the others  silent
He is still fanning the others...
