Picked him up today at Pier, he was the biggest one their at circ 3.5inch just need his bristles to develop more and he'll be a beaut Very Happy

He's in QT at the moment and in a few week will add him to my tank with the other 3 I have, will take some photos and sizes of the others in a few weeks and hopefully given time will be looking to breed from them :<a href=\'h

High Jagtazman, lots of fine little bristles on that little guy, like you said "he should be a beauty",
interesting marbled colour pattern too- nice pick up mate.
I hope you have some success getting your hands on the A.Rio paraguay to in the future.

NICE mate the 309 males only have small fine bristles and females dont have any so easy to sex

Not sure how true that is mate, I am sure TheGeeman over on PP has a trio and they all have bristles, might have to check with him at some point.

all the info i have says fems dont have bristles but its from the tinternet i just took a look at that thread and theirs four pics on it.
take a look at the fourth one i might be wrong but i cannot find a female pic of any with bristles also read some were that the fems dont have any bristles will have another dig around see if i can find it

Them bristle's are tiny and its as if they are ment to be that way...almost trimmed to size.....

great pics both of you and keep digging for that info as i will be doing a profile soon...
