is there any fruit/veg/meat that is bad or posionous, anything that is a real danger to feed the bn's?

Hi I have just joined up so excited dedicated pleco page
I have been breeding bristlenose for about 2 years and this what I feed mine
Carrots with stainless steel pop rivots in them to weight down then i freeze them and get same outcome as blanching (go a bit soft)
Sinking red protien discs
green sinking alge discs

Great resource (especially for a beginner like me)! mine like lettuce, spinach, courgette(or zucchini as we know it here), cucumber, carrots, apples (not really, but my otocinclus love them)!honeydew melon and cantaloupe melon but I will now try a few others on the list!

Don't forget the SQUASH. Lol My BN Prefer Squash before anything! I can place any other food in with the squash but the squash is always eaten first (scoop seeds out) weigh down with paperclip and sinker attached!

Took fishing line and a plant anchor,tied two alge clips and wieghted the one I put the veggies on.Now I never have to go find the clip.
