Oh and there are some very very nice calico males on there but they are both males....

Emailed the guy and they have 8 soft rays with spots on all parts including bristles

So how much do you think these will go for?

you can have the calicos mate but the claros are another thing

its a good bet mate although the colour doesnt look right but they are in a tub

dont now what they will fetch but they were a pound when i went to bed and 19 quid when i looked this morning wouldnt mind the female though if they are the L100s as ive got two males would save me growing one on for him but saying that the female as just spawnd again so im going to put her with him and see what happens

Okay guys I am 90% certain now these are L100
I have now seen the fish in the flesh, turns out Simon who is selling them is the ex owner of Swish Fish.
The fish are very dark if not black and have very fine white spots all over. I have search and search the web and my reference books and I believe like I originally thought that they are L100 although I've never owned these so cannot be 100% certain, but looks at the Back to Nature books it's a knocking bet they are

you must be well intrested in these then to email him then go and have a look at them are you going to have a stab at them. im supprised for a bloke that owned an aquatic shop would put them on ebay as 183 whats all that about.
theirs not a great deal of info out their about them and most report that breeding is unknown all i will tell you they are black not brown unless stressed and when really stressed they go to a green the l100 is stunning when in full glory. i think mine stress easy becouse they are wild caught but they are starting to calm down now when you go near the tank they dont dart all over the place anymore i might go take a peek and see if they are 100s

L100's are jet black with the white spots -correct?

yep youve got it mate those on ebay look brown but they are in a tub so its hard to tell could just well be stressed out

The ones I saw in the flesh were jet black

well he got good money for the L100?????? £56 you can get wilds for less think im selling in the wrong place £61 for the albino im defo selling in the wrong place and £40 plus on the long fins

I was tempted but decided against it in the end,

no i whent to £40 no point paying more when i can get wilds for £8 more

Met Simon last night in the pub, he's sold these to a guy in Rotherham/Rochadale cannot recall which but he said they were L180's :roll:
