| That's a hard question really. I don't know if one maker builds an aquarium better than the other, I think it mainly relies on what you chose to make it all happen. Like Filter HOB or canister, Lighting, substrate, decor. Then again that conversation can go on forever because people have different tastes. | |

i will take a look at that...i have an aqua one 850 its a decent tank has its own built in filter's (carbon) only draw back is you have to replace the filter every month at a cost of £4.99 | |

only reason i ask is that the media in the filter has the Bacteria on it and this can cause all sorts of problems to your tank if the bacteria is being removed no if you imagine 2 tubs say 10 inch by 6 inch...with media at the bottom..then a foam filter layer over that...then you get like a carbon filter tray that sits over the top,then the spray bar goes over that....then the carbon gets full of crap to quick blocks up and has to be changed monthly...but the media stays in the tub i never touch that or the sponge filter... i will get some pics soon and show you what i mean... | |
