| My name is (Lary) reticulata. I have been involved with tropical fish for 35+ years. Most of that time with fancy show guppies. About four years ago I decided I needed to have a couple of albino corys in each of my guppy tanks. Albinos because I had a tank of them. When they spawned I read up on the web and got about 5 to live from the first spawn. Ironically at the same time in the cory tank one egg hatched, survived and grew up while I'm beating my brains out trying to do the same. After a few spawns I got to a 90% + hatch rate from each spawn. So then I'm falling in love with egg layers. Long story short, I now have a bunch of ancistrus spawing regularly. Also L-46'sL-102's, seven kinds of corys, 6 kinds of angels, blue rams and EBR's and 3 types of apistos. My only disapointment is I wish I had discovered BN and other egg layers years earlier. | |
