| How long is the gap between spawns usually? And how can you tell if a female is ready? My babies are approx 9 days old, so I'd say it's been 14-17 days since last time. | |

| High hopkins182 ,you'd be looking at about month to 6 weeks if the conditions are right for your female to spawn again, mine used to go every 3 weeks - but that was with 4 females in the tank , now there is only the 2- breeding has slowed down to a more managable event. J | |

| so what conditions do I aim for? Got the cool water change thing, and I do that every week. Should I look to feed anything special, and will I see any signs that it'll be happening? | |

| feed plenty of fresh veg and Bloodworm once a week thats what i do to condition them, you will notice the female getting Gravid and she will hang out on top and around the males cave when she is ready and you will notice him cleaning the cave, he will also sit at the front of the cave fanning
what is your water change routine?

| It's a 120 litre tank. I change 20 litres a week, and drop the temperature by 2 degrees and clean the filter every 2 weeks. I've just put 4 breeding caves in the tank, as only had 1 little rock cave before...have spotted some cleaning and fanning by both my males.
They get fresh courgette (zucchini) daily, and a small amount of bloodworm once a week (started that last week).
Have 2 females, and 1 of them has started hanging around caves. The 4-6 week idea would mean that it'll be about 2 more weeks, though I think this may be longer, as moving house next week, so will probably stress them a bit!
