Disappearing again ....... Already LOL

We're being REALLY brave and going camping for a whole week from tomorrow. OK, it's on a Haven site LOL But still, it's for a week, not just a coupla nights. Fingers crossed the weather forecast is correct and we have great weather ALL week.

Mind can't complain, it's cost us £30 for the week ~ no electrics - no need for it, we don't have anything that runs on electric when camping LOL

I had to invest in a cheap camping wardrobe though LOL

The first couple of days were wayyyy to hot, and then it got cold!! I know, ya can't win. Anyhoo, regardless we had a fantastic time. The site was clean, and the new loo/shower block was spotless too which is definitely a big plus.


Wayne did a bit of fishing on Friday at Bridlington and caught a coupla tiddlers, nothing worth throwing on the BBQ lol

I have to admit though, it's good to have a shower that doesn't stop every 30 seconds (to stop flooding I guess LOL), and it's fabulous to have central heating and a REAL bed LMAO I think I am gonna sleep till the cows come home

hi ang where did you stay use to have 2 vans on primrose valley haven site.

We stayed on the Blue Dolphin site. The friends we went with go there regularly. My sis had a couple of statics on Thornwick Bay at Flanborough, but sold them to buy a boat <pffffft>

I would definitely recommend keeping an eye out for their special deals, we went basic camping (no electrics) for less than £30 for the week, and it was less than £50 with electrics. We didn't go with electrics as we had nothing to plug in lol.

Spare a thought for us poor souls on the Sth Coast, NSW, Aust. We're meant to have a southern cyclone

Our storm wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I guess days of rain and then strong wind gusts did the damage here, waterlogged soil and wind makes for problems, I have a few felled trees is all...have to do some weights now to get the muscles to lift the suckers up, replant & stake out better...
