For Sale 100+ Bristlenose Plecs....

I need to free up some tank space as my BN's are breeding like wild fire at the moment......

I have 100 small BN's from 1CM upto 3CM's.....

I would'nt normally sell BN's at that size but iam simply over run with them now....

Its a 50/50 Bag of Common Browns and Albino's....

there may be more like 150 but i will say 100 as counting them will be a nightmare...

they are healthy and are being feed on courgette and Hikari Wafers.......

wont the LFS buy them off you curby? or at least give store credit.

Thats the problem mate they are not at an inch...i did take my last lot one place and most was at an inch but the guy said he needs them like his other BN's which were clearly 2 inch, so he offerd me a really crap price sumert like £34 for 90....but after it took me about 3 hours catching them all i couldnt be bothered taking them home to do it all again...i was robbed in a way so thats why im not going to take hours and hours bagging and catching for the LFS to try and ripp me off again.....

They no the hassle behind the whole process and they play on it....after all an inch is this big [....................] not this big [...........................................]

Its not rocket science....but like i said they no you wont take them home again...

Only sold them at 40p as I desperately needed the room but I will not be going back to that LFS unless I have no other option but like Curby could not be bothered going back home with them

Generally a LFS will offer 75p-£1 for an inch

I've sold a few common pairs now and down to one so hopefully will be able to manage it in future

Well ive been to a local shop today and he wants 60 at a £1 each for an inch...

So i thought i would start removing all the other baby's i have out of my large tank into my breeding tank...

I did say i had about 100...i have over 300...

My grow out tank is now solid with small BN's...and i still cant get them all out of my large tank, so ive giv up for the day..
This guy may want 60 a week so it will give me a bit of time to get the numbers down...

Had a clear out of the big tank today only took 2 hours...lol...

Good news that mate. Nice steady income. Whats the best foods to feed the fry up on? currently feeding courgette and king british wafers but the growth is really slow. My LFS has told me that they will only take them when they are 1"+ trouble is I added an albino female monday night and the male got Jiggy with her within 24 hrs (the tart)

so now I have 100+ babies growing on and they whatever comes out of the cave

what your feeding them is perfect, what you need to get them to grow big quickly is a large grow out tank with plenty of light...
The bigger the tank the quicker they grow....tis a fact....

gonna be slow then because I cant have any more tanks without buiding a fish house and there is more chance Scotland winning the 2010 world cup

Me too mate i have a spare 120 litre tank but have no space so i have to struggle with a smaller grow out tank...
If i won the lottery my fishroom would be imense...
