| Hello all, I have the opportunity to buy a group of 5 young clown pleco's L15.
But i have to decide which I would like to have more these clown plecos or the L144 as I already have one young L144 and would love to get a male for it when I find out its a female for sure.
I am wanting to setup a tank just for plecos, so which one of these two kinds would you concentrate on??

| Personally, I'd go for Clown Plecs! They're lovely fish in my experience, and their colours look great one they're settled. Mine loves to root about through my plants all the time, pretty adorable Plus there's less to go wrong, as from what I heard, longfins are more subceptable to fin damage, and therefore more likely to get fin rot. | |

| the clown pleco is qquite nocturnal so if you want to see him then dont have much decor in the tank.... mine can be a little territorial around its shell and wood, otherwise he tends to be a happy sole... his colours do change now and again though he seems to be settling down alot better lately.... i prefer my albino gibbi over the clown but thats just my preference | |

whether clown pleco's ae at the front of the tank or hidden can be very much due to the type of clown pleco you have, or just the individual pleco... as ever each to their own..... I think they are wonderful fish to keep when they have settled in | |
