This is just something I am curious about and since we do seem to have a slightly diverse group I'll ask it. Name your top 5 favorite home cooked foods from each of your meals. I.e. breakfast, lunch/dinner/supper. Doesn't matter what it is as long as you make it at home. And it doesn't have to be in any particular order. If you have any questions about what someone has listed, ask. In terms of what I have, I'll will be more than happy to send you the recipe. I do know that some of the wording we use is the same but mean different things. Just ask!

I'm really into cooking and I love different foods. Being from Kentucky we really don't have a whole lot of different choices in terms of places to go. We are dominated by chain eateries and Mexican food.

For those of you that live in the UK we have a place called "The Pub" that serves English pub food. It seems like pub food is easyly comparable to homecooked traditional English food, but I've never been to England much less an English pub so how in the hell am I supposed to know if it tastes as authentic as they advertise? It does taste very good though and they tout over 150 different beers. cheers

Australia. I have no idea because I've never seen traditional/home cooked Austrailian food. I would like to know if its like England, America, a combination, or distinctly Aussie.

Canada. Again..no clue but I would love to know.

Please help me get a taste of the world.

I know I'm not the only one on this board that can cook. My recipes for beans and cornbread and fried chicken will make you want to jump up and slap your granny!! And I would be more than happy to share!!

2. Pad Thai - Its Thai food but I have a Thai friend who taught it to me...its a staple in our house now!

3. Soup Beans and Cornbread
