| Hi guys
ive been keeping fish now for a lil under 2 years little did i realise at the time how much it was gonna take over my life ive become obsessed lol i started off with 1 community tank (or so i thought turns out most of the fish id bought were wrong and i was given all the wrong advice) grr at unethical greedy lfs exploting my newbiness anyway i have now 5 happy healthy tanks all bar one of said tanks has bristlenose in it (its a convict tank housing a breeding pair and anything i put in with them they kill) so basically i have altogether 7 bristlnose plus 5 synos corys and a sailfin plec as well as the rest of the fish obviously i recently had sucess with breeding my common ancistrus bristlies (or at least thats whom im assuming the parents are) theyre a little over a week old now and theyre thriving soooo cute im gonna have to keep some of them no 2 ways about it theyre not all going to the lfs lol (not the same lfs as above i now have a very good ethical friendly helpfull lfs who back me up and are always eager to help when im outta my depth) so anyways thanks for having me on your forum and i look forward to chatting to you all
Paul

| hey mate, welcome!
Love the featherfin! I have one myself and its the biggest love hate relationship ever. he is the biggest personality in the tank but he loves to rip up my plants and generally buldoze the entire aquascape.

| Thanks again guys for the awesomely friednly welcome so cool to find some like minded bristlnose fanatics id really like to get some diffrent types im hoping if i can sell some of my fry (maidenhead aqautics here said theyll take them) ill have a few pennys to spend..erm i mean invest lol in some cool new plecs i have a good 150 convict cichlids to get rid off too if anyone wants any also an abundance of mts lol just rescaped the livebearer tank tonight and im now certain theese lil guys are planning some sort of mass rebellion! cause theres entire armys of em!
Doug i totally agree about the love hate relationship with the featherfins lol theyre absolutely beautifull to look at but theyre the bulldozers of the tank lol ive given up with plants now!! also my biggest balboa helped himself to half a dozen rummynose and several platys before i worked out where all my fish were disapearing too!! when i asked in my lfs if i needed to add some kind of food supplement to the tank to keep them happy the owner joked that the rummynose were obviously supplement enough according to balboa
p.s ive kinda created an album and uploaded a load of pics but not sure ive done it wrong so apologies to the mods if i did
