Power is back on. Lol..draining 4 tanks 3 gallons each hour and putting it back in for 6hrs is a chore. Fish seem to be fine. Lol...its 430 in the am and I have to be at work in 2.5 hours. Sleep

Thanks!

I didn't know how long they could go without the pumps being on.

I have since invested in a couple of battery powered airpumps so this won't happen again. Seems we've had increasingly more powerful thunderstorms of late.

All of the fish are fine.

Yup...got them ready to go for the next one.

Been lucky...we've had this house for 3 years and that was the first time the power has gone out. Power company was on it immediatly and we had a new transformer by 4-5 am.

hey bwompus,

we had a power outage the other day also! was out for about 14 hours!
luckily i did not lose anything at all. i traded a friend in florida for a dozen young albino and brown bn. i sent him a dozen aspidoras and some guppies.
hopefully my calicos will spawn soon. i have 2 males and 2 females. one male has been hanging around the cave, but nothing yet. soon though i hope!
i'll keep you in mind about those bn you have.
thanks!
