| Hi from sydney australia. I wan't to get into bristlenoses and this seems like the place to start Anyway the only ones I have at the moment are about 4-5 cm long, and i was wondering how long it will be until they grow up and mature. From what I can tell they are pretty clean shaven (no bristles) but I doubt this is because they are all female. Cheers :albino: :albino: | |

| its really impossile to give s decent estimate as the growth is so varied. I would say 5 months to get to 2in 9-10 to get to 3 but these vary so much. some get to 3 inches in 6 months, other take a year. the best bet to know about maturity is to look at the bristles. Once males have a decent set of birstles then he is ready to mate. females, its all about body shpae. once the get that round belly you are good to go | |
