| Subject: almond leaves for pleco's Fri Aug 27, 2010 1:50 pm | |
| Hi Jerry-
countless to say how many different things for food I tried on my pleco's first time I got going.
I ordered some from another site, and they arrived soon enough.
Ok to answer your question-
Yes some pleco's did like the almond leaves, and some didn't lol.....
Though the one that preferred it was my albino gibbi, and she tends to be choosey with her food too...lol...
Since my pocket no longer allows these occasional treats I have reverted back to cucmber or lettuce with a little garlic rubbed on it.
Thikn it was a post I saw of Doug's ages back that mentioned garlic, and as he says they same to attack it.... like frenzied piranha's in mine...lol....
Just had sparingly and monitor closely.
Mine kinda like Hikari wafers but I only treat them to that once every week-also tropical fish flake, pleco pellet etc...
I always had new treats in the evening since most of my pleco's tend to dine better in the later hours.
Regards... LJ | |
