| ok this is all new to me but i think my pair have done the deed. or have they ???. I see today the male will not leave the cave alone he faces into the cave wiggling in figure 8 movements with his finn's.
fore some un- known reason i thought he would be faceing out of the cave fanning clean water in.
If they have spawned it could be their first time . the guy i had them off never botherd trying to breed this pair from his display tank.
i can not take photos due to very high tannings in the tank ( Oak Cave )
whats peoples views on this ?

| sounds very promising, like john said he will be facing inwards gaurding the eggs and constantly fanning, and you will soon no if he is gaurding eggs, if the female trys to enter the cave he will go mad with his tail at first hitting her out of the way, | |

| well i came home tonight and he is fafing around in the next hole cave ....perhaps hes cleaning them out ready for a spawn. You see i had a plank of Oak and drilled 2x 32mm holes 5 " deep in one end and a 25mm hole in the other end across the plank. he sure likes the 2 x32mm holes .....will have to wait and see . thanks everyine for confirming head into cave. makes sense to fann rubbish out of the cave | |

| well to update
Sunday / monday i have seen a few Orange eggs bobbing around the tank ,Male must have kicked these out and fingers crossed he still hase a few in the cave that have hatched. | |

| a week ago i found some large eggs kicking around the tank and just left them to get on with things.
Yesterday i see i have a baby free swimming, no egg sack and around 1 cm in length. from reading reports he must be arounf 10 days old. | |
