| well the Bn's verson.
ok from the start. I made a cave out of a oak plank soaked it 24 hours and then placed it into my tank. the amber tannins that came off this Oak has made my plecs so active. they seam to swimm around loads more than before . the over tank light hardly lights up the play sand subtrate.Im keeping a close eye on the colour and waterchange if i feel it needs lightening.
Im sure this is like the asian almond leaves that some people use.

| Keep a very close eye on your Ph and other parameters i know a guy that put some Almond leave tea bags in a drum of water and in 1 day the PH went from 7.5 to 6 and the water was black.... if he had left it any longer god knows what the PH would of gone down to | |

just thought i would share with you all. this sounds good, the almond leaf's iam using are crap, they are doing nothing atall for for tank or plec's... I need a differant angle to approach at i think...oak sounds good | |

| Some Aldmond leaves are better then others there are diffrent grades mate Grade A and Grade B..... Grade A been the best | |
