| my first peppermint bristlenose spawn!  my girl was full of eggs and yesterday i noticed she was suddenly a lot thinner, so i looked in the cave this morning (without disturbing him) and sure enough found the male fanning eggs!  this answers the question as to whether i had a male and female! hopefully the male knows what he is doing and most of them survive will keep you updated | |

| thanks guys! im heaps excited the pair are around 9cm and roughly 18 months old. i wasn't expecting such an early spawn since i only got them june this year and they were around 4cm then. | |

| congrats on the spawn, im waiting on my pair to spawn. female needs a little more conditioning first, they were a little skinny when i got them. btw would love to see more pics of your black calvus, i have 2 myself and absolutely adore them! | |
