| Subject: swapping a 4ft tank for bristlenose cat fish.... Fri Dec 03, 2010 3:39 am | |
| I may have a male and female, I need to decide whether or not I want to pass my fave female on as at the minute she is in a smaller tank.
I do have one def male which should be mature ready for breeding though as you know can not guarantee it.
The male is about 12-14 months old and is the brother to the male of my breeding pair, also have a few golden apple snail shells peter...
they only breed if you mix a male and female and are good for keeping the tank clean.
Though is you want to keep them under control I would only recommend one per tank as they are sexable, but some people mix a male and female by mistake and at about 6 months old they can breed quickly.
As such you have a choice here now...
Just can not swap or pick up until I recover from my operation, unless you know some one that can drop off (pending seeing good pictures of the tank in question).
kind regards
