| I have had my 2 BN's for about 2 weeks, i think they are just common ones both about 3" long, anyway my problem is they have cleaned the tank out of algae, they seem to be eating corgette when they can get near it because of one of my goldfish cos he loves it, if i put algae wafers in the whole tank goes mental especially my weather loaches and the 2 goldfish so the plecs don't get any, will they be ok without algae wafers or is there something else i can give them that the other fish won't scoff. | |

| try feeding just at lights out. that way the other fish will be going to sleep and the bristlenose will get a chance to feed | |

| it depends on how much else they are getting to eat. Its hard for us to answer without knowing and seeing how much food actually makes it to the bottom of the tank. Most of my bristlenose only get algae wafers once a week if i rememeber, normally they just eat cucumber. Have you tried feeding flake style algae (Spirulina flakes). these tend to be a bit messier and more will make it to the bottom for the bristlenose to munch on.
