| hi,i have a spare 5 foot tank and was thinking of making it into 3 tanks, mesh dividers, fluval 2 x2,plus sponge filters,2 or 3 bn in each,as the water flow would reach each tank does anyone think it will be ok.also do you need lights as i will have peat and bogwood in the tanks which make the water dark.once hatched i would remove fry to growing out tank, what do you think. | |

| sounds like it could work. I would throw a sponge filter in for a bit of extra O2 One of the other things is i would build up some wood or rocks around the mesh dividers to block the view of the other breeding areas so the males can not see each other and feel like competing. The other good thing about this set up is that if there is a hormonal trigger for breeding as there is in many fish (never been proven in bristlenose but lots susperct there is) it will help | |
