I have got slate caves for my bns and they love them...
I bought a half coconut cave with moss and java growning on it but they didnt rate it... So I gave it to my L059's and they never took to it either...
Have just moved my tanks and fish around to make way for my new babies and put a slate cave in for the L059's and within an hour they had settled in!
Hopefully when they get a bit bigger I will have some babies from them too Very Happy
People use all sorts of things for caves...
Some people make their own with terracotta pots etc, some buy shop bought ones and some use pvc pipe lol!
I think its trial and error as to which your bn's like...
Take a look under the breeding cave section, you will find some great info and advice there!

We have made caves from pvc pipe and aquarium sealant'd it to a piece of slate etc to secure it. Slate caves are good, half and whole coconuts are good, half and whole terracotta plant pots are great too. We always give each tank a choice of different hiding places, the BN's are finniky, and differ from tank to tank.

I have made lots of hiding holes too with the wood and plants that I have in my tanks...
Some of my wood makes little bridges that they like to sit under.
I think as long as they have places to hide and 'call their own' then they are happy... Very Happy

If you fancy making your own there are some ideas HERE . As Tilkifox and Angi-N-Wayne have said your better having a few caves/hideaways and letting your male pick his favourite.
