Hello there from NZ!! New to any of these forums and to fish keeping. Bought my first tank about 6 months ago after I bought my 7 year old a little tank for her birthday. We got her a red spotted pleco (that's what we call them in NZ) and I really like him. He's pretty big now. When I got my own 250L tank I waited a few weeks after setting up and bought a pair of breeding golden bristle noses. They have not bred yet but I haven't really done any research on how to achieve this til now. Looks like they are having a go at the moment using a cave in some bogwood in the tank. I will be stoked if they breed - they're so cute!! These types of fish are called "sucky fish" amongst all the fish people we know.....!! Anyway I have seen lots of cool info and some awesome photos on this site so thanks a lot for helping a newbie!! Cheers, Vicki :P
