| Hello I`ve been lucky enough to get two spawns from my bristlenose but they have just stopped. Every time the female goes near the entrance of the males cave he chases her away
Has anyone got any ideas what I can do
Thanks for any help | |

| wait the male will let her spawn when he is ready, just give him a change to get back into condition and then try and trigger the spawn. I suggest feeding some high quality foods, slightly increase the level of protein in his diet so he can get into peak form. when he seems to be relaxed in his cave then trigger the spawn. have you changed anything in the tank of late? if so he may be stressed a bit and not want to spawn. | |

| Follow dougs instructions, sounds like your fellow is having a rest and needs some good food him..... he will be back on it as soon as he is fighting fully fit again, dont forget males can go 2-3 weeks without food whilst raising young so its important he gets his rest and protein as doug says..... | |
