Just got back from my LFS where they had some really nice L204 flash plecs, for £30 each, some L104 Clowns at £13 and some very nice L129's and L002's for £27.50. Didn't get any but came away with 3 what they told me were just normal baby BNs that I got for 90p (30p each) apparently they were too small to normally sell (inch long). I just made them a cheeky offer of what change i had in my pocket at the time... Look very cute in my fry tank. Just one thing these are very dark almost black and spotty rather then brown and spotty like my others. Is this common in young ones and they'll get lighter as they get older..??

Cheers Jon

The dark color is probably just a normal variation. Different strains will have slightly different coloring. I do find that most of the time unusually dark or light fry become much more mainstream in color as adults. If they still seem different as they mature, and you have doubts as to what they are, you can always post again.
