| i was wondering if i can keep the water about 30cm high so its easier to do water changes just wondering if it affects it or not? | |

| There is no problem with keeping the water at 30cm. it's more likely that dropping the water level can cause problems with the tank cycle. | |

| how big is the tank? only issue i could see with it is if that reduced the volume of water such that it is below 60ish ltrs. if this is the case then you will have trouble keeping your water parameters stable and that will reduce breeding | |
