New L144 trio

Well, I made the 5 hour round trip to Steve's (carptamer) yesterday and picked my boyo up and his supa fat Big Momma of a female and the smaller baby girl.Left them last night checking out their new tank. Today he was cleaning the big cave like mad and now at 1pm Big Momma's almost fully in the cave with him watching over her! He will have to have a rest soon, although he is well covered and in super condition. The really strange thing is................I have another group of L144's that stopped breeding 6 months or so ago , and now...............he's cleaning a cave and fanning to the females too!

Sounds like there will be alot of action coming your way...
The new addition's may have sparked some competition...

i told you yvette that is a very productive trio i thought all had gone but there is still about 15 youngsters in the tank great news about him and the female i hope its big momma his caught keep me updated good luck with them not that youl need it with them ex fish of mine they will make a nice cash cow for you and youl be constantly supplying the local fish stores here comes the money lol. hows the reds doing any signs on them yet.get ready for about 70 babies or more.

Well! I now have the L144 in withg eggs I got Friday, my original male who I thought was gay on eggs, plus 2 young albino males are fanning away like nobody's business! At least I'm too old to get broody

im so glad you collected them a week earlier or you would have to have waited another week on top well done but i did say she was ready to pop that will be 3 lots of young of them in 9 weeks id give him a pat on the back and a rest put another male in with them for a month and leave him on his own or put him in with l144 fry well done lets hope these reds get going again mine are mucking about in and out of caves

hows he doing any sign of the fry yet he must have let them out now if not yvette id give him a helping hand as he needs a good feed up now lol

Yea he let them out last week! He is in really good body condition considering but alone for a rest now

so sorry to here that you lost the l144 super stud and his 2 big mammas to a ph crash super stud enjoy your time in bristlenose heaven such a shame to loose a cracking trio like they were.
