As I understand it, if both parents carry the albino gene then there is a chance of the odd albino fry. If only one parent has it then there will only be common fry. Doug has made an excellent post about crosses HERE that will explain it better. | |

| Fry are better left with parents for the first couple weeks to a month. They eat the parents poo which helps build there ammune system. At about 2cm is good to move into grow out tank. This is unless there's bigger predatory fish like cichlids in the parents tank that could eat the fry. Iv only ever used fry savers for fry that iv hatched in egg tumblers or to keep fish that I'm selling (makes em easier to catch when needed lol) | |

| Kfenk has it in one. I ususally move male and eggs to the grow out tank, not just the eggs so that dad can still look after them. If they have already hatched in the breeding tank then i ususally wait til 1.5-2 cms to shift them | |

| just took them away from parents to another tank with some small kribensis fry. Is 20 a normal number for a first batch?

| Depends on the size of the female. If its a small female then yes 20 sounds about right. Just be wary of the krib fry, even if they are too small to eat the bn they could still try. But good luck with the fry tho and hope the parents keep breeding for you | |
