| 24 hours ago i got my first pair of bristlenoses 1 male and 1 female still quite young only about 1.5 inches long they came from a nice man & lady for the grand price of £1.50 each and they was so nice they even gave my son a tetra from the same tank the male is all over the tank now but the female is hidden in the back of the tank i think shes a bit nervous as they came for a over stocked tank they are from two different breeding pair but they have seemed to get attached can anyone tell me what size they start to breed as i want to move them to a different tank when they are going to breed he has got his cave in some bogwood and they are dark brown with light brown spots not sure on the number had a quick look around and they look like l200 short fins | |

| Size of tank will depend on whether your going to have another tank for raising the fry in. You can use internal power filters with fry, you just need to cover the intakes to stop them getting in, there is aprevioys thread HERE with some suggestions | |

| It won't take them long to grow, and if the two are happy with the conditions, they'll reward you with lots of little babies! | |
