| Hi,Carol and thankyou I caught Dad having a quick snack out of the cave last night he must be very hungry bless him.He soon dived back in when he saw my movement though lol.It was all dark and quite late but i needed a drink so had to put the light on and caught him.I was sorry that i had disturbed him but also glad to see he actually ate something.I always thought they starved themselves while fanning eggs and protecting babies. There are only 3 other fish in the tank with him and they are also bn's.Two of them are female and the other is only a juvenile about 1 and a half inches so he must feel that the eggs are safe to leave for a very short time i guess.
