Hi there,
It was only just yesterday that I discovered the existence of these wonderful fish, after someone suggested they may be suitable for my subtropical tank I'm setting up which I hope will only need heating on cold days and in winter (set to about 22c).
I have a Fluval Roma 200 tank and I am planing to have a shoal of 10 peppered cories, and 12-16 upper tank shoaling fish (such as White Cloud Mountain Minnow, Rainbow Shiners, Platy or danios).
After viewing videos of Bristlenoses' and other Plecos on You Tube, I have to say I am rather smitten with the idea of having
at least one Bristlenose! So I just want to double check here that they are okay with the other fish I am planing for the tank. I want the most peaceful tank I can get.
I have the following equipment:
Fluval U4 Internal Filter
Fluval 205 External Filter
Shall also be getting an air pump as the upper shoals enjoy it.
I am using a very fine black substrate instead of regular gravel, and will be including craves and a good amount of bogwood.
Also are there any major does and don'ts with the Bristlenose
