| Hi All, Just a short introduction. While writing a article about the Ancistrus claro for my Dutch forum I came across this website. I never thought of looking for an Ancistrus website but now I found one. I want to thank the makers of this website because this is a pretty cool subject. I started with the common one. I had a few successes so I decided that I wanted the L144. I started with 6 youngstes what became a super combaination. 2 male, 4 female and still 4 clusters off eggs at the same time. One female died. I sold one trio. The last remaining man killed himself (jumped out off the tank) so I sold my last remaining L144. Then the L183 came. I bought a few and sold them all a bit later because they were all man (I thought). After I sold them I learned that females from this species also get a little mustache. I still regret it to this day (I found out that I sold about 3 pairs, ggrrrr). At the same time as the L183 I bought the L184 and yesterday they surprised me with the second spawning and this time the eggs are still in the cave. I had the LDA016 for a short while and now I have 4x L144 and 5 red Ancistrus remaining. I guess I like the Ancistrus species. Further: I’m Dutch, 23 years young and I like to breed fish. I have my own website/forum about catfish for a year now and I like to expand soon. My English spelling is not the best so I hope you guys give me some credit. That’s about it. I hope I can learn a lot from this website Olivier | |

| Hi Olivier and welcome. Your English is much better than my and most probably most of the member's Dutch so I wouldn't worry about that... Great pics of your L184 babies. Jon | |

| Hello Oliver and welcome to the BN family! Your english is very good and your record suggests that success is on its way to your tanks. By the way, what is the address of your Website. Don't have even the weakest command of Dutch, but interested. | |
