| hi doug sorry if i have gone about this the wrong way it was not intentional
what i actually meant was:- has anyone got a care sheet for the rio tocantins please?
i asked this on the thread where andrew had posted as he was the breeder that i bought mine from and was very helpful when i called at his house to collect them however i have since lost his mobile number and e-mail address
the other reason that i posted openly is that someone else may read the thread who wants a care regime for these little fellas or someone other than andrew who has a regime sheet may read it and reply in the same manner so that everyone may reap the benefits as these are still fairly rare and unusual bristlenoses (to me at least) information on the care and welfare / sexing / breeding / environmental issues is not easy to find so i thought that i would ask on here where i expect to find people with the best knowledge on the subject

| As you say they are still quite rare so there is little information about them. Ideally contacting Andrew would be your best option either by pm on here or you could try via Ebay, he still has some of his L325 Jari Blue Ancistrus Bristlenose up for auction, so you could use the ask a quesion link.
What little info I have seen is:
Size : 14cms pH : 6 - 7.5 Temp : 25 -29 c Diet : Slightly more of an omnivore than herbivore. Sexing : As for other Ancistrus, only males will have bristles on the snout and upper lip, females often have some bristles on the upper lip.
Although they are rare in the trade keeping and breeding is classed as relatively easy.
