| Are some types of Bristlenose that are more suited for planted tanks than others? I want to keep my plants in good shape, so I don't want to get any type that would eat my plants. | |

| I forgot to mention that I have a 38 gallon planted tank with 5 adult Congo Tetras, 3 adult SASE's, 2) 3.5" Clown Loach, 1) 3" Kubotia Loach, 1) 2.5" albino Long-fin BN, and 1) 2.5" plain brown bristle nose. I use 4) 18 watt bulbs for the plants, but no CO2. | |

| Hi
I agree, bn are great with plants i've never had a problem with them with plants but i have had a group of congo tetras that loved to strip a plant of their green leaves.

| Shouldn't worry about your plants. BNs might look like monsters, but they are angels! | |
