| i would defo try the short/longfin l144 route it works fry only very young at moment just finishing of egg sack and very slow growers need to be 1 and a half inch plus to see what are short and longfin ratios but give it a go i would and this could take up to six month to get to this size as very slow growing | |

| these fish are kept in a 2 foot by 15 by 12 tank temp 78 degrees substrate fine gravel in the tank theres 1 piece of bogwood and 2 caves the filteration is a large air driven sponge filter and a fluval u2 internal filter cold water change usually triggers them to spawn hope this helps any fellow new breeders with future projects | |

| didnt do to well with the first batch after a filter crash only a few survived but nevermind found male yesterday on a new batch of eggs heres hoping better look this time | |
