| Hi and welcome to Bristlenoseworld Your fish looks like an L091 Leporacanthicus triactis sometimes called the 3 Beacon Pleco because of the orange patches in the dorsal, adipose and caudal fins but clearer pictures would help.

| you are absolutely correct in that ID. Wow! 10seconds on here and I have my answer! That's just thrilling. I am curious what I need to know about him. He gets no real special treatment right now... just eats of the bottom like any bottom dweller. Should I be feeding him something special? How big is he going to get? Is the 120gal acceptable for his species? I really love this fish and want to ensure he has a good long life. thank you so so so much for the ID! | |

| Hi and welcome to bristlenoseworld.
Good food for your pleco is the occasional fresh veg like cucumber and also feed it algae wafers. They should provide the optimum diet the pleco needs

thank you so so so much for the ID! 3 Beacons can potentially grow to about 9" at that size a tank 48"x 18" would be minimum needed to allow it move freely. 120 gal sounds big enough but really depends on the dimensions. As kfenk has said a good varied diet is needed.
