| I have tried my bn's with sweet potato today and they seem to love it but i have been told anything with starch in it will cause havoc with water and bacteria quality what are your thought on this? | |

| Did you feed it raw or blanch it first I use it raw and have no problems leaving it for 24 hours before changing. It could well break up quicker after blanching, depending on the length of time it's blanched for. | |

| I fed it a few times raw and left it for about 24 hours and then removed it. I found that the female loved it and gave it to them and both times they spawned about a week later- just my experience. Hope it helps! | |
