| Hello to all! I figured it was time to come out of my cave & be sociable (contribute) to the forum.
My interest in Bristlenose has grown exponentially in the last year. I currently have 8 of these delightful Plecs, & am always looking for more- I consider it as "giving a home to wayward Plecs." My other aquatic interest is planted tanks, which I've had for 20+ years & I believe go together beautifully w/ Plecs.
I am the caretaker to: 8 Ancistrus sp., 2 Panaque sp., 2 Common Plecs (12" & 6") 1 Sailfin (9"), 1 large Albino Plec (13") 3 Angels (breeding pair) Bloodfin, Black Skirt, Head/Tail Light, Serpae Tetras, 7 Tiger Barbs, 7 asst's Swordtails, 7 LongFin Danios, 6 playful bubble riding Corydoras-3 of which are Emeralds, 1 Striped Raphael, 1 beautiful Spotted Raphael, 1 awesome little Bumblebee Catfish, 3 Blue & 3 Pearl Gouramis, 3 elusive Banjo catfish, 1 insane Pictus, 3 trickster Dojo's, some hitchhiking snails, & my latest score 3 juvenile -okay-miniscule Elongate Moth Catfish. I am in the scouting process for more tanks solely for Bristlenose breeding purposes. The Ancistrus do have their own tanks now but I want them to have much more room.
Sorry! I didn't mean to rattle on I just like talking about fish- In summary I look forward to being active here & learning more about the breeding aspects of Bristlenose, & the sharing of information. Thank You for having such an awesome site dedicated to the husbandry of this spectacular fish. Thanks for reading, ~wendy | |
