technicaly we dont have the starlight BN here in Aus. We have the peppermint bristlenose which is basically the same fish but there is a lot of confusion as to what L number it is. They look basically identical

No competition as I'm in England but I also want to buy a mature (if poss) starlight male as I have 4 females. All bought from different sources - how unlucky can you get? No, I don't mean that as they are beautiful but need a boyfriend or two. Doug I thought the starlights were different from peppermints by having the tail and fin edges white like their spots? Not a very good picture, sorry.

peppermints juvis are like this too but the starlight and the peppermints loose this white tip as the mature. the white seam bristlenose on the other hand doesn't. it keeps that white edge for life.
