I have a male ABN that is always sitting on clumps of eggs-have two females in with him. This time he had two bunches of eggs both of which are separated from the cave-one has been kicked out or pushed out by a overeager female--likely close to 75+ eggs all orange and nice looking. The other when I lifted his cave was loose also but is farther in so should stay in.
I was wondering if it would stress my male to remove both clutches of eggs?
I already have 100+ fry in the tank most being close to 1". They love to spend time with the male in his cave and he lets them.
Most likely the cories I have in the tank may eventually discover that the eggs are food, or the eggs may hatch.
Does anyone every feed other fish with pleco eggs?
