| Tiger Pleco L002 Tiger Panaque Fish Statistics Minimum Tank Size:150 litres Diet:Omnivore Origin:South America Temp (C):22-27 C Max Size:15 cm pH:6.5 - 7.5 Care Level:Easy Tiger plecos are also often referred to as the 'Hairy Pleco' due to a fur-like appearance. They must have wood in their tank, which they enjoy eating. They will also eat some algae as well as sinking pellets. Tiger plecos are nocturnal and will require places to rest during the day. | has anyone on here succussfully bred these? my LFS has some for sale. they are pretty expensive but might look into getting some if they can be bred. cheers. -zane | |

| There is a guy in NZ who has bred these and I wanted to get some off him but for the past 5 months he seems to be impossible to get hold of. I don't know what is keeping him so busy but I was going to buy several species of fry from him and it would have been well worth his while... | |

| The wife's just gone mad with me when I told her I am thinking of branching out into different plec's lol These and L333 are on my list, just need to sort out some tank space. Ideally trying to find some I can keep in my discus grow out tanks | |
