| This is a fish that has been giving me a whole lot of trouble as it was sold to me as something else (Hypancistrus) but will now grow to big for my tank. So going back tomorrow. He is currently about 12 cm long but will become at least 40cm. Watch out when being sold this one. Marty | |

| They are ideal for that monster tank but not for the 2,3ft tank. Some people have mentioned them getting over 2ft long but that was in ponds where they the room to grow big.
What L's do you have Marty?
L's in Australia lead the world on price, well in being the most expensive..lol
L046 fry for about $500 is cheap adults $1000 plus.

L046 fry for about $500 is cheap adults $1000 plus. I have a Jewel Rio 180 (100cm, 180litre) tank. So this fish is far to big for my little housings. I currently have a Flash Pleco L240 and a Blue (common) Bristlenose catfish. I have kept many different types of fish in the past including marines but that was back home in Sydney. Here I have just started with two tanks, the Jewel and a 60cm (60 litre) tank, that is to small for any L catfish. Marty
