| Subject: Identifying Young Plecs & Ancistrus Wed Nov 21, 2012 12:28 pm | |
| To be fair to some fish shops it is virtually impossible to identify many small Plecostamus, Ancistrus, Panaque & similar species from one another when young.
Likewise I suspect some wholesalers sell young fish to retailers as a small variety who in good faith sell them on. Its the end consumer like us who buys a young fish only for it to grow into a monster !
I have purchased really cheap Common Plecs for them to turn out to be a really nice colour variety including a Royal Plec that I bought for £1.50 | |
