| Its hard to tell but i thinks its a male. But if you can post a new photo from the side it would be much easier to tell anyway you can tell it yourself buy just looking at his bristles if they are only on the sid of the lips its a female but if he has them above than hes a male. Buy the way its a nice looking fish | |

| I'd say he is a male. It is hard to tell from the pic but if you can see if the bristles run up the nose. only boys have them running up the nose

| Because I have to drive ages away to get it and the person who took the photo said it was the best they can get, do peppermints have different kinds of bristles compared to the commons, would you have a picture of a male and female | |

| The person selling it to me said its female and I have never seen a full grown one in person, it has a high price tag to but females are hard to find compared to males and I didn't want to get it and it end up being a male as I am getting a male tommorrow | |
