PostSubject: Goldfish Fry - picture heavy   Goldfish Fry - picture heavy EmptyMon Mar 04, 2013 12:40 pm

Hi everyone! I'm posting here to show you all the growth of my four month old fry. His name is little Bill. He is followed by about 200 other baby fry but I've not documented their growth as well as his since he was the original (and only surviving) fry. He is the spawn of his five year old mother Ursula, common goldfish and father Democracy, common goldfish. They began spawning and I was unsure that the eggs were fertilized so I removed them all. Then the next day I moved my BN pleco and his driftwood to another tank unaware that there were eggs inside his driftwood! Days later while doing a water change in the pleco tank I noticed something swimming! It was little Bill. Pictures =)

If this is in the wrong place please feel free to move it to the appropriate forum and I apologize in advance.

Whoah! At 3 weeks he even looks like a tiny goldfish! Very cool! I Always thought it was interesting how goldfish go through color changes. Good job documenting. I just had my first spawn of BNs I have documented it, but not as well as you, in my post, confirmed eggs! Under the breeder cave subforum.

Sweet! i always hoped for baby Bn's. I know now why that didn't happen what with them both being male. The lfs sold Liliana as female but when the bristles started in like they did I got skeptical. So now I'll just have to get another one =p Bristle babies are so adorable! I'm going to go check yours out right now!
