| How long has he been in the bag? Do you have anywhere else to put him? How big is your Beta tank? Are there any caves or good hiding spots? | |

| Probably a bit late for advice, how'd your BN and Betta make out? I would have suggested at least putting the Betta in a net breeder or similar while the BN adjusted to the tank and discovered good hidey holes and such. Bettas can be not very nice to intruders, even other species, and they are also greedy. They will try to eat most anything smaller than themselves that moves. Heads up to anyone thinking about putting shrimp in with Bettas- my male Betta almost killed himself in 12 hours destroying and eating ghost shrimp almost to the point of exploding. They were destined as feeders, so I wasn't concerned about him eating one or two, I just underestimated his determination to attempt to eat ALL of them! Sarah | |
