My new Bristlenose

OK so i decided to go to one LFS today to have a look. Now i remember they had L144 a while back but i wasnt expecting them to have any left. Seen they did so i picked myself up an nice little boy



got him with 2 young albino girls but no cave so if they find a way to breed good on em lol

Very nice fish I'd like to get some L144s but none in the fish shops around here and havnt seen anyone selling on gumtree or petlink .
How much did he set you back?

i took a piece of texas holey rock out of the 1.5ft tank and replaced with driftwood for the L333s when i put them in there to grow out. The texas hole rock was put int he 4ft tank and the bristlenoses were all over it like a rash giving it a good clean. tonight after work noticed the L144s head pocking out a hole and a skinny female albino bristlenose sitting on top of the rock. she wasnt skinny thismorning lol

And so the other female has layed in his little hidey hole too it seems. Both females are nice and skinny today

Very interested to see how the fry turn out

Very interesting to see what the fry look like. I'd love to get my hands on some L144's not many people selling them though and most wont ship them too me .

I did see some longfin ones for sale last week on plecoplanet $30 @ 4cm I think. Dunno if they are all sold tho...

How much did yours cost you?

On special from LFS so I can't say. They got a big batch in a couple months ago. There was only 2 left in shop when I went there. The original price was $44.95 each

I found someone selling l114 fry for $10 each at 3-4cm. They sent me pics of the adults and the fry and they look really nice so i'm gonna get 5 or so from them . Always wanted l144s .

they are nice im picking up some l144 longs cant wait to get them
