| I don't use any lighting on my breeding tanks. They give no benefits to the fish and as my breeding tanks are bare bottom with no plants just wood and caves it saves money on the power bill . | |

| i used to use two small banks of 4 white LEDs on mine. Just gave enough light to see what was happening and grow some java fern. they were cheap and cost nothing to run so it was good | |

| I have lights over all my tanks for the live plants and my viewing pleasure! All my fish breed no problem so I bet it wouldn't really effect them either way. | |
