I have two goldfish tanks and brown diatoms. I was thinking of getting two Bristle nose. one for each tank to clean the brown diatoms.

I do not get any green algae only brown for some reason.

Hi,mine don't touch it so I would have to say no.It isn't a good idea to have bristlenoses with goldfish anyway as their diet and temps and needs are totaly different.

Hi,are your tanks new ? How long have they been running? Do you have lights on the tanks and filters?

Oto catfish could do the job. But they require at least 25C, while goldfish like it lower don't they? Try to look up some snails, unfortunately, I don't recall the name.
If your tank is new, do not introduce any new fish until cycle is completed. Try increase light , do not expose you tank to direct sunlight.
