| I just found this forum on the net, while searching for diy pleco caves! I have 6 super red, 2 long fin albino, and 1 albino bn plecos. I am really excited to try and breed some of them! The reds are very young still, only 3 to 4 cm, ( I am not really familiar with the metric system so these are my best guesses ) but hopefully grow fast...lol... The long fins, I hope to have a pair, one has the bristles starting to split, that one is around 8 to 10 cm, and the second LF is about 6 to 8 cm with bristles on the lip only! I got it sold to me as a pair from the breeder, but you never know. The single albino I have for about a year, and it is for some reason bloated often, therefore I do not hold out hope breeding this one! I had a pair for it, and I lost that one due to bloat a few days after I got them! It did not matter that I fed peas or anything else! It seems like I feed peas for te one I have left more often now to try to keep the bloat down! Anyway that is another tread.... I love all the info on this forum and hope tp learn a lot from all of you!
